Children's Theatre believes that the arts are an essential component
to all children’s education, and that all educators can utilize
theatre arts techniques to enhance learning across the curriculum for

SCHOOLDAY PERFORMANCES
Performances
are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for each mainstage production
(December, February, and April). Complete the schoolday ticket order
form (Adobe PDF—in process), and send it with your deposit as
soon as possible to reserve your seats. EMAIL

PLEASE NOTE: Seats are limited! You must make a reservation
through Boston Children's Theatre, whether or not you are applying for
PASS
funding through your Local Cultural Council.
"MILESTONE MOMENTS"
Playwriting Contest with cash awards and performances of select "Winners'
Circle" entries. Call to find out more about student playwriting
workshops, professional devlopment opportunities, and in-school residency
programs utilizing playwriting and production techniques.
SCHOOL COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS & TOUR PERFORMANCES
BOSTON
CHILDREN'S THEATRE works closely with school faculty and staff members
to design and implement a wide range of theatre opportunities for students,
from a single workshop or performance to a long-term "Page to Stage"
playwriting and production residency project.
SCHOOL CHORUS PROJECT
School
vocal music teachers are invited to work with BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE
staff to enable their students to participate as chorus members in a
BCT mainstage production. Commitment includes several weeks of rehearsals
during the school day, plus final dress rehearsals in the theatre, and
some or all of the public performances.
PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
BCT artistic staff
offers workshops with training, practice, and planning components to
enable teachers to utilize playwriting and theatre in the curriculum
and create projects to achieve curriculum goals for their students.
BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE is an approved PDP provider and Massachusetts
