About UsMissionNow celebrating 59 years of continuous operation, the mission of BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE has been and continues to be to provide live theatre opportunities for children by children throughout the Greater Boston Area. BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE believes deeply that the arts, and especially theatre, not only provide a means for self-discovery and individual expression, but also offer a safe, supportive, and productive environment in which young people may gather from across traditional boundaries to learn about themselves, each other, and the world, while engaged in the many creative processes of live theatre. The goal of BOSTON CHILDREN'S THEATRE is to make live theatre opportunities for and by children affordable, available, and accessible to all.
